The perfect lunch on a Friday afternoon. I made a reservation since it was my first time dining, but I didn't really need it. We were seated right away. The space has great natural lighting, and I would love to dine here when the temps are warmer outside. The buffalo chicken sandwich was just the right amount of heat without being too spicy. I also love the more shoestring style fry. Service was quick and prompt. I'll definitely be back!
What a great way to kick off 2025 with a Saturday afternoon lunch at Perennial on Lockwood. On whim we went out on a Saturday afternoon and made a reservation at Perennial...really happy we did. Service was top notch. Server was timely, attentive and knowledgeable about the beers, menu and daily specials. Lunch included a shareable app, entrees and a couple of beverages. Our starter was the savory beignets...what a pleasant surprise! Crispy, light and so full of flavor. Highly recommended. Cold day outside so warm drinks and comfort food was our plan. One hot toddy and a pint of Hotspur worked perfectly. Then the main event....shrimp and grits for my wife, and braised short rib for me. We did exchange bites and both raved about our dish as well as the other. Two really solid choices, both would be ordered again. My braised short rib came with broccolini and fries, and everything went so well together. The shrimp and grits had a great sauce, along with peppers and sausage...very nice! Great dining start to '25...will definitely return to Perennial throughout the year.
met my friend here on a chill wednesday night! The bar was super popping. i believe there was a party so me and my friend sat at the bar which was fine with us. parking was a little difficult, but that's how webster is. i ordered the sangria and it was super duper good. i also got a side of fries, which i forgot to take a picture of before i devoured, but it was the biggest side of fries i had EVER seen. everything was delicious and all the bartenders checked on us multiple times which i really appreciated.
Perennial on Lockwood is always busy so I'd definitely recommend having a reservation beforehand! We went with a larger group (8 people) and made a reservation in advance. We came at 4:30 and were hoping to take advantage of some happy hour deals. Unfortunately our waiter didn't put our order in until after 5pm when happy hour was over so we were unable to do that. My only complaint from the visit was that our waiter wasn't very attentive to our group, but this may have had to do with us being a larger party. The food here is delicious and I love that they feature local beers. The ambiance is good for a date night or a nicer night out with friends.
Okay hands down the aviator salad it truly one of my new favorite salads ever. I popped in here for happy hour with a friend on a Monday and it was fairly busy! They take reservations, so I recommend making one! We sat at the bar and enjoyed wine and convo with the bartender. We ordered the pretzels as an appetizer and the aviator salad for dinner. The pretzels were great, but as stated before the salad was amazing! It's light but super flavorful, I added chicken and would go back and get it daily! Definitely recommend!
